„Poległa za Polskę”. Kobiety powstańcze w twórczości Gustawa Morcinka (PDF 514 KB)
Abstract
The aim of this article is to discuss the image of female insurgents
in Gustaw Morcinek’s writing. The author recalls a stereotypical Silesian woman and compares her to heroines of novels based around the
theme of Silesian Uprisings. She draws our attention to Stazyjka,
a character of Mat Kurt Kraus and dares to deconstruct the official
history to picture an innovatory interpretation of the heroine’s life. In
her interpretation, Sadzikowska refers to thoughts of a French philosopher Jean-Luc Nancy.
