Abstract

The text describes various music collections of the Silesian Library.
Some of them (sound documents) were presented at the exhibition accompanying the 10th Jubilee Conference of Music Libraries
“We keep playing!”. Other items could be seen by conference participants during the lecture with presentation of manuscripts, copies
from the Lviv Theatre Library, old prints and valuable sheet music
publications. The author of the article describes selected copies from
the rich musical collection of the Silesian Library and also mentions
the most important studies devoted to this collection.
